What a Bedrock driveway includes

• Full tear-out and haul-away of the old surface
• Compacted gravel base - the part cheap bids skip
• Rebar or wire reinforcement on chairs, not thrown in the mud
• Four inches minimum of air-entrained concrete, more where trucks park
• Control joints cut at the right spacing so cracking happens where we planned it
• Proper slope so water runs to the street, not into your garage

How the job runs

1. Site visit. We measure, check drainage and talk through finish options.
2. Written quote. Thickness, reinforcement and base spelled out - compare it line for line with any other bid.
3. Tear-out and prep. Usually a day, including base compaction and forms.
4. Pour and finish. Poured, finished, jointed and cured. Cars stay off for 7 days - we'll tell you exactly when.
